Chili (Capsicum annum) to enhance human nutrition.

supplies value-added products for the formulation of nutritional supplements,
fortified and natural foods.
For more than 30 years Bioquimex Natural has been the main supplier of natural carotenoids, and has become the leading worldwide manufacturer and distributor of natural pigments for the poultry industry, holding over 30% of the global market share. Our vertically integrated business covers all areas for obtaining of products derived from Marigold. To ensure the quality and reliability of its products, Bioquimex Nutrition activities include seed selection, crop management and harvesting, extraction, manufacturing and distribution. Because of our integrated production capabilities, we can guarantee that all our products are obtained from non-GMO Marigold. In 1994, the Research
and Development Department began production of nutraceutical grade Lutein
Esters under the registered trademark Xantopina® Plus which
is obtained through a series of successive purification of extracts of
Marigold flowers. Nutraceutical grade natural carotenoids are manufactured
in dedicated facilities under the strictest Good Manufacturing Practices
and quality control guidelines. To cover the specific
needs of the nutraceutical, food and cosmetics markets, Bioquimex
Nutrition
offers customized carotenoid products. Bioquimex Natural is part of Girsa, a Mexican-owned chemical-industrial group, sharing values, standards and guidelines that sustain and direct development of business and its people. The group is present in diverse industrial markets and has 20 plants in strategic locations throughout the Mexican territory. The Technological Research and Development Center (CID) provides technological services and supports the Group's business lines.
